Background

I turned professional in 1993 armed with an Arriflex camera and a passion for wildlife. I got my first break with Partridge Films shooting footage for a pilot about the Pheasants of China.

Since then I have filmed Drama, Documentary, Science, Current Affairs, Commercials, Music Promos, News, Sport, Corporate, Reality Television, live Outside Broadcasts and everything in between.

I have Produced several series for television as well as some single programmes. The knowledge gained has given me the insight to understand programme production from both sides of the budget sheet.

I work with all the moder formats and still shoot 35mm and Super 16.

I have filmed from almost every moving platform you care to mention as well as from some that shouldn’t have!

I concentrate on being the best cameraman I can possibly be and cross all genres. My selected list of credits will show the wide variety of subject matter that I have been fortunate enough to be involved with.

I still shoot wildlife for various production companies but my wide experience now enables me to move across the board.

I started with a passion for the moving image - which endures to this day.
