I am experienced in the use of the following equipment;

Cameras (video)

All HD cameras Varicam. Red One. Alexa. P2

Use of standard lens plus Long Lens work and Macro

HDW Iconix. Action cameras. Mini cameras

Digibeta.

Sony DSR500, 570 and 450 DVCam

Beta SP

All file based cameras, DVCam and Mini DV, HDV, XDCam. Sony Z1. and Sony A1E.

Infrared.

As a film cameraman, I use;

Arri SR2 Super 16mm High Speed (up to 150 FPS)

Bolex Super 16

Arri 535 35mm

Arri 435 35mm

Sound

Location sound- Documentary.

Radio Mike. Miking up one or two person interviews. Anchor. OB.

Boom Mike

Sync shooting in both tape and film.

Lighting

Full set up. Location or studio. I can light everything from a cupboard to a main street.

Camera moves

Jib operation (up to 30 foot)

Dolly operation

Aerial Cradle

Splash bag, underwater probe camera.

Fixing cameras to vehicles, moving objects or in unusual places.

Editing

I have good editing skills.

Particularly useful when shooting on the fly - be it documentary, sport or reality television. I know what will cut and what is needed to make it cut.
